The Web Log of Photographer Nick Adams

The Internet is a wonderful thing.
Since I started my blog about a year and a half ago the response has been amazing: it has logged an average of about 75 unique visits per day -- nearly 40,000 to date.
It's remarkable to know that people from anywhere on the planet can check in to see what I pointed a camera at today. That makes it fun. I have received emails from every continent (excepting Antarctica -- Hello? Is anybody there? Somebody send me an email!) and many from photographers interested in some of the techniques I use to create photographs.
So I decided to expand a little, stretch out and explore some new blogging options. And here is what I came up with. It's still a work in progress as I add older favorites and iron out some bugs. I hope you like it. I'm interested in your feedback--leave a comment on an image, or on this post, or send me an email through the address on the "contact" page.
One other thing: the "popular content" counter is not a realistic count of views, because an image has to be clicked on to receive a vote. Also, it seems that the images with comments attached get a lot more votes, probably because clicking on a comment is a visit to the commented image. And of course if an image is on the top ten list, it will get clicked on more from there. Hmmm, I have to think about this a bit more........
Nick
