Monday just after sunset was the best opportunity to view Jupiter and Venus (two white specks at upper left) and a beautiful crescent moon together in close proximity. But I was out Saturday evening on assignment in Kanab where I took this image and it was still cool. Even though the moon has raced by, you can still check out the two planets, and if you get a small telescope (or binoculars if you are steady and patient) you can see some of Jupiter's moons.
