Bon soir! We just got back from photographing a couple in Paris, but we have to leave for a wedding in Salt Lake so those photos will have to wait a few days. Paris was a blast (how could it not be, right?) and Signe got to speak French to her heart's content.
Photographic representation is, alas, never faithful to the sentiment that triggered it, but imperfect as it is, it is a naive attempt to postpone death, to steal from time a fall of light, a privileged moment, which will never again recur, but will continue to live thanks to the photograph - like those stars that have been dead for thousands of years but whose light still travels through space to show us what they were. -- Jeanloup Sieff

I saw your sample work on blu domain's website.
Then I googled your name and saw your website and blog.
I'm in awe of your work. You are one of my favorites now.
Anyway, I laughed when I saw this post of Paris. I just put mine up from my paris 206 trip on my blog a few days ago.
I'll be coming back to your work. You have an excellent eye and you do great processing on some of these too.

1/2 of our Paris photos were accidentally deleted from our camera and we were heartbroken, so it's so nice to see yours!

WOW! those pictures are amazing. Yep I am still one of your biggest fans. Still check you blog daily. I heard you will be at Logan and Kristins wedding and I am SO excited. I am pretty much a groupie.... sad
