Short trip to Vegas this weekend. Signe and I drove out to Hoover Dam -- I haven't been there for a long time. A new visitor center, new road being built to take traffic off the dam. The road should be spectacular when finished, it's high over the canyon. We decided that we have to take the kids back in the spring for the dam tour. I haven't done that since I was a kid, and it was cool. Hoover Dam is an art-deco monument with some really beautiful features.

Testing out a new D3 camera, about 15 seconds at f/8, ISO200. Shooting from the Arizona side back toward the dam, the city lights of Las Vegas light up the clouds and sky.
