Worth Every Penny

Today is Landon and Wanda's 71st wedding anniversary. I went to my grandparents' house to wish them a happy anniversary, and I asked about their wedding day. Grandpa told me it cost $12.50 to get married, and with a twinkle in his eye he said, "and it was worth every penny!" They are both 91 years old and are a constant source of inspiration. This is one of my favorite photographs of them (don't know the lady in the middle background) -- look how cool they are.

hey nick. of course I check the blog religiously but after reading about the elephant and your grandparents I had to say hi. i miss you guys. my life definitely has a void where the adams belong. scratch a kitty ear or two for me:)
