Signe and I wanted to put Whitney with her husband Chris as a study in contrast. Whitney told us that after her treatment regime (which lasts 3 days) she feels so sick that she just wants to curl up in his lap. This and the title quote are from some notes made by Whitney: "...his love is what makes it possible for me to struggle through even the roughest waters..."
